Vacation 2007

During the period July 22 to July 29, 2007, Anne Monteverdi treated her family to a spectacular vacation in Yosemite National Park.  Accompanying her was John P. Monteverdi, Larry and Arlene Margetich and Jim, Laurene, Anna and Liam Schlosser.

The week was spent at the wonderful Ahwahnee Hotel, located in a gorgeous setting in the eastern portion of Yosemite Valley.  Visits to Glacier Point, Mirror Lake, and many of the hiking trails in the vicinity provided the daily activities.  On Tuesday, July 24, John completed the 17 mile hike to the top of Half Dome, one of the major highlights of his trip.

This book commemorates this trip, which was the latest of a series of such vacations.  These trips represent a celebration of family, and this book is both a remembrance of the shared experiences, and a creation of love.
